Shadow Girl is an interesting book, but a The Shadow Girl book cliche. It's a very generic haunted house tale that boasts a lot of mystery but really doesn't have much of anything mysterious or suspenseful at all in its plot/5.

Shadow Girl is also the second book in the series so it’s possible that details in the first book may have made me like this one more.
